DECOfill Shipping Policy

At DECOfill, we know that your packaging is what protects your brand equity. We are committed to delivering your order safely, efficiently, and with total transparency. Because we offer both standard stock items and highly specialized, custom-printed products, shipping methods and timelines vary by product type.

1. Production & Processing Timelines

Your order timeline consists of Processing/Production Time + Transit Time. Shipping transit windows begin after your order has left our facility.

Ready-to-Ship Products

  • Processing Time: Orders for in-stock, non-customized products (such as our standard color crinkle cut paper variants) are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days.

Custom Printed Products (Web-to-Print Configurations)

  • Production Time: Because custom void fill is engineered to order using your unique branding and 3D visualizer layouts, these products require a dedicated manufacturing window. Custom orders typically ship within 10-14 business days after final digital proof approval.

  • Note: Production timelines may scale depending on order volume. Your projected ship date will be confirmed via email once production begins.

2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

We utilize a tiered shipping network to ensure you receive the most cost-effective and reliable rates possible based on the weight and volume of your order.

Parcel Delivery (FedEx & UPS)

  • Best suited for small to medium orders of crinkle cut paper or low-volume custom samples.

  • Available services include Standard Ground, 2-Day, and Overnight options.

  • Tracking: A tracking number will be emailed to you the moment your label is generated. Parcel carriers cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Freight Shipping (LTL - Less Than Truckload)

  • Best suited for bulk orders, large volume custom void fill, palletized shipments, and deliveries heading to 3PL providers or commercial warehouses.

  • LTL Delivery Requirements:

  • Commercial vs. Residential: You must specify at checkout if your delivery location is a commercial business zone or a residential address. Failure to specify your address type accurately may result in additional charges.

  • Loading Docks & Forklifts: Standard LTL rates assume the delivery destination has a dedicated loading dock or forklift access.

  • Accessorial Fees: If your location requires a liftgate delivery (lowering the pallet to street level) or an inside delivery appointment, these services must be selected at checkout. Additional carrier fees apply for these specialized services.

3. Shipping Rates & Documentation

  • Calculated Rates: Shipping rates are dynamically calculated at checkout based on total shipment weight, dimensions, destination zip code, and the selected shipping class. Delays in the approval and printing process may cause rates to change.

  • B2B / Third-Party Freight Billing: For high-volume 3PL and enterprise clients wishing to route shipments through their own freight forwarder accounts, please contact our support team directly before finalizing production to coordinate Bill of Lading (BOL) documentation.

4. Inspection, Damages, and Shortages

We take great pride in our packaging presentation, but transit accidents can happen.

  • For Parcel Shipments (UPS/FedEx): Please inspect your package immediately upon arrival. Report any clear outer structural damage or product shortages to our team within 5 business days of delivery, accompanied by photos of the packaging. Failure to do so may result in claims not being paid.

  • For LTL Freight Shipments: You must inspect the pallet(s) before signing the carrier’s Delivery Receipt.

  • If a pallet arrives broken, shrink-wrap is torn, or boxes are visibly crushed, you must explicitly note "Damaged upon arrival" or "Shortage: [X] boxes missing" directly on the driver’s paper or electronic log.

  • Take clear photos immediately.

  • Signing the delivery receipt without noting damages releases the freight carrier from financial liability, making a subsequent claims process significantly more difficult.

5. Changes, Cancellations, and Redirects

  • Address Redirects: Once a shipment has left our dock, any requests to redirect a package or intercept a freight truck will incur carrier rerouting fees, which will be billed directly to the customer.

  • Custom Order Holds: Because custom web-to-print items are completely unique to your brand, custom orders cannot be cancelled, refunded, or returned once the manufacturing run has officially started.
